everything is awesome episode 136 - temple of geek with Danniel Slade

Danniel Slade, founder of Temple of Geek, joins me on this week’s episode! Aside from having the coolest last name ever, Danniel chats about how he started Temple of Geek and how he got into podcasting. We also discuss technology of yesteryear, James Gunn, Chris Hardwick, and more!

ABOUT DANNIEL SLADE

Slade started Temple of Geek in 2012 with his friend as a podcast. Since then, it has become a lot more. His obsessions are Transformers, Star Wars, Classic Video Games, Superheroes, and comedies. Slade’s life was turned to the Darkside when his father gave him a gift in 1985. He was presented with the leader of the Decepticons, Megatron. Since then, Slade has become a collector of the robots in disguise. The only other thing that comes close to Slade’s love of Transformers is Star Wars. He has met a few of the cast over the years. Slade’s one goal in life is to meet with George Lucas and just discuss movies with him.

ABOUT TEMPLE OF GEEK

Founded in March 2012, Temple of Geek was a place where friends could come and talk about the things they enjoyed most. After a few trial episodes about The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, life took over and the Temple had all but been forgotten. Finally, after a year and the addition of new members, ToG returned better than ever! We talk about Comics, Movies, TV, Video Games, and more! There’s something for everyone here at The Temple of Geek!
