I was introduce to the idea of Krampus a few years ago when a co-worker and I were finding any and every holiday to do a countdown for. The idea of a villain for Santa—a Joker to his Batman—was (and is) fascinating. It seems as I discovered the legend of Krampus, he grew in popularity as well. There has been a handful of films, some part of this franchise from Robert Conway, and even an anthology film Kevin Smith was working on (before he changed the main antagonist to Kilroy).
What I really like about the trailer for Krampus Origins is that it looks like this movie, while having roots in horror, will have a fantasy element to it. I can’t wait to sink into this film (which we’ll be reviewing here on That’s Entertainment)—watch the trailer below and get your hands on Krampus Origins November 6th, 2018!
