Our goal as not only a podcast and YouTube channel but people in general is to have conversations that are encouraging, hopeful and uplifting. Sometimes every so often you come into contact with films or conversations, that aren’t always gonna do just that. Unfortunately, Halloween: Resurrection, falls into that category. We didn’t feel we had a whole lot of hopeful things to say but we are also going through all the Halloween movies, so join us for this very brief talk on this 2002 film. Check out our full review here. For Reed’s review, click here. Let us know in the comments below what you think.

A lot of people are talking about how the upcoming Halloween (2018) completely ignores the mythology before it but the original 1978 film. However, this won’t be the first time in the franchise that filmmakers have ignored the canon. Halloween H20 ignores parts 4, 5 & 6. The mythology of the Halloween franchise isn’t the most organized – but does ignoring the predecessors actually work for H20? What do you think about the mythology of Halloween and its messiness? Let us know in the comments below.

H20 is a significant entry into the Halloween franchise. Taking place 20 years after the original, it allows for some familiar faces to come back. While also making way for some fantastic young talent. Obviously, we are seeing Laurie Strode actress, Jamie Lee Curtis, return but wait – there’s more. Actress, Nancy Stephens, return to the role of the nurse from the first film .Also making for new talent which includes the likes of Josh Harnett, Michelle Williams, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and more. H20 is a stacked slasher film with immerse talent.

After experiencing the tragic events of the first film, Laurie Strode struggles quite heavily with alcoholism. For her, it’s her way to cope. While also keeping the secrets of past hidden, not opening up about them. For us, here at Victims and Villains, we want you guys to understand the importance of opening up and the value of conversation. logo-transparent.pngThe Fear of God podcast is the intersection of Christianity and horror movies. Two best friends coming together over the medium of horror and bringing with it, the word of God. Reed mentions two catchphrases that have spun out of the show. We’re explorers, we’re not explainers or that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom but not the end of the conversation.
