All roads have led to this! That’s right over the past month, we’ve been going through all TEN Halloween movies through original episodes, spin-off episodes, YouTube content and crossovers. Now, forty years after the original, Jamie Lee Curtis returns to Haddonfield. Before we talk about it, we’re talking about the indie works of our guest, Blair Webb. Blair is the creator of the indie comic book, Ghost Man and the punk rock magazine, The Hold-Up. This episode serves as a refresher for his projects. STRODE, MYERS AND LEGACY
Halloween (2018) serves as a direct sequel to the original 1978 film of the same name and it ignores all nine sequels and remakes. Director David Gordon Green and writer Danny McBride had a big shoes to fill when preserving the legacy of the original film. We’re talking about the legacy of the film and how the film moves forward the franchise and gives the original a run for its’ money.
You’re gonna have to listen to this episode and actually see the movie to know just how it ends, but does this film open up for a sequel?
